Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the permitted and prohibited uses of PlatiqData Analytics. All users must comply with this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy defines what constitutes acceptable and prohibited use of PlatiqData Analytics ("the Service"). It is designed to protect the Service, its infrastructure, and all users from abusive, harmful, or unlawful activity. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP at all times.

2. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for lawful business and analytical purposes. Permitted uses include, but are not limited to:

  • Connecting to databases and data sources for business analytics
  • Building interactive dashboards and data visualizations
  • Exploring and querying data through SQL
  • Collaborating with team members on shared dashboards and queries
  • Embedding analytics into your own applications within the terms of your subscription tier
  • Using the API within documented rate limits for integration purposes

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Illegal activity — Using the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Unauthorized access — Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other user accounts, or connected systems and infrastructure
  • Reverse engineering — Decompiling, disassembling, reverse engineering, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service
  • Circumventing limits — Bypassing, disabling, or circumventing rate limits, feature gates, usage quotas, or any other technical restrictions of the Service
  • Scraping and automated abuse — Scraping, crawling, or automated access to the Service beyond documented API limits, including using bots or scripts to extract data or interact with the platform in unauthorized ways
  • Unlawful data processing — Storing or processing personally identifiable information (PII) of individuals without a lawful basis under applicable data protection laws
  • Malware and spam — Hosting, distributing, or transmitting malware, viruses, spam content, or any destructive or unsolicited material through the Service
  • Impersonation — Misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or authority, or impersonating any person or entity
  • Unauthorized resale — Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the Service or access to it without prior written authorization from MySpace MyVibe LLC

4. Resource Limits

Each subscription tier has defined resource limits, including but not limited to the number of queries per day, the number of users, the number of connected data sources, and available storage. You must respect these tier-specific limits at all times.

  • Exceeding resource limits may trigger automatic enforcement mechanisms, including throttling or temporary suspension of access
  • Deliberate or repeated attempts to exhaust shared platform resources (such as running computationally expensive queries designed to degrade performance for other users) are strictly prohibited
  • If your usage consistently exceeds your tier limits, you will be notified and may be required to upgrade to a higher tier

5. Data Responsibility

You retain full ownership and control of your data sources. PlatiqData queries your connected databases in real time but does not store the underlying content of your customer databases on our servers.

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that all data you connect to or process through the Service has been lawfully collected and that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use it
  • You must not upload, connect, or process data that is illegal, infringing on third-party intellectual property rights, or harmful in nature
  • You are responsible for complying with all applicable data protection and privacy regulations in your jurisdiction
  • If you use the Service to process personal data, you must have a lawful basis for doing so and must ensure appropriate safeguards are in place

6. Security Obligations

Maintaining the security of the platform is a shared responsibility. As a user, you are required to:

  • Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized parties
  • Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where available, especially for accounts with administrative privileges
  • Not share individual user accounts between multiple people; each person must have their own account
  • Report any discovered security vulnerabilities responsibly by contacting [email protected] rather than exploiting or publicly disclosing them
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or any security breach

7. API and Embedded Analytics

If you access the Service through our API or use the embedded analytics features, the following additional conditions apply:

  • API usage must remain within the documented rate limits for your subscription tier; exceeding these limits may result in automatic throttling
  • All embedded dashboards and analytics must be served over HTTPS to ensure data is transmitted securely
  • You must not modify embedded content to remove or obscure PlatiqData attribution where required by your subscription tier
  • API keys and tokens must be kept secure and must not be exposed in client-side code or public repositories
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your API keys

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

PlatiqData may monitor usage patterns and system activity to ensure compliance with this AUP and to protect the integrity and availability of the Service. We do not monitor the content of your queries or data sources except as necessary to investigate reported violations or protect the platform.

Violations of this AUP may result in enforcement actions proportional to the severity and nature of the violation, including:

  • Warning — Written notification of the violation with a request to remedy the issue
  • Rate limiting — Temporary reduction of resource allocation or access speeds
  • Suspension — Temporary suspension of account access pending investigation or remediation
  • Termination — Permanent termination of the account for severe or repeated violations

No refunds will be issued for service periods affected by suspension or termination resulting from an AUP violation. We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior warning in cases involving illegal activity, active security threats, or severe harm to other users or the platform.

9. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any activity that violates this AUP, please report it promptly to:

[email protected]

We will investigate all reports in good faith and take appropriate action. We may contact you for additional information during the investigation. Reports may be made anonymously.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email or through the Service before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this AUP periodically.

11. Governing Law

This Acceptable Use Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to this AUP shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming.
